​Branch of the commercial company Great Vision Business Holding "GVB Sarl", http://greatvisionbusiness.com , Kivu Entrepreneurs, created in 2014, is the work of a young Congolese entrepreneur, Mr. Joël TEMBO VWIRA (Initiator of two successful companies and ALUMNI of the YALI 2014 program in Entrepreneurship and Business at the University of Texas-Austin).

Kivu Entrepreneurs is one of the first Entrepreneurship Academies and one of the first private startup incubators in the DRC. Located in Goma, in the North Kivu region, its aim is to promote entrepreneurship and therefore help local youth to realize their business creation projects.

Thanks to a modern infrastructure and a network of professional coaches, Kivu Entrepreneurs offers young companies that subscribe to the Incubator a good working environment (Desk with computer connected to the Internet, Meeting room, Coffee ...), tailor-made coaching, adapted to their needs as well as close monitoring for the development of their business projects.

Kivu Entrepreneurs also offers remote support with effective coaching and connection to opportunities to entrepreneurs who are part of its network which today covers several cities in the DRC.

Thanks to its Entrepreneurship Academy launched in October 2014, Kivu Entrepreneurs offers the opportunity to people interested in getting started in entrepreneurship through a 60-hour training course led by professional practitioners whose content covers various themes including: generalities on entrepreneurship, design thinking, analysis of business opportunities, business model, development of a solid and bankable business plan, Management, Marketing, Leadership, fundraising and financial education, Taxation, Business Ethics and the business pitch technique.

Being in a region open to English-speaking countries; Kivu Entrepreneurs has since January 2015 launched its English Training Center which offers professional training in English to entrepreneurs as well as agents and executives of companies & organizations in need.

Through the consulting department of GVB Sarl, Kivu Entrepreneurs offers consulting services in the following areas:

 

- Support for entrepreneurial projects (development of AGR);

- Organization of market studies for entrepreneurial projects (development of AGR);

- Collection of digital data for entrepreneurial projects (development of AGR);

- Organization of business plan competitions for projects supporting entrepreneurs;

- Organization of events for entrepreneurs;

- English-French and French-English translation and interpretation for companies and organizations in need.

The Kivu Entrepreneurs Startup Incubator is today a framework that allows each year several dozen startups and SMEs to consolidate and be boosted by offering the DRC market and African countries innovative products and services in the fields of Agro-industry, Processing Industry, NTIC, Environment, Health and Education.
